Today I will show you 10 ways how you can extend the life of your smartphone and work much longer time. As we often know, the life of a phone battery decreases over time, but there are a few ways you can improve and save your battery life!

I have experienced such problems and experiment use different methods to increase battery life, and I have made these 10 suggestions to help you save battery life and work a little bit longer than usual.

I use the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium and have tested these methods on this smartphone. The result is obvious! I know the phone is not new, but I don't want to get rid of it because it's a very good phone and I like it. So let's start..

1. Make your phone all apps up-to-date

Many times I have noticed that not updated application phone battery instantly consumes a lot of power, possibly due to an application gap or malfunction. So always make sure that all the applications you use are updated! That's right from the security point of view as well!

2. Turn off data usage and application uses in the background

This will help your phone keep the battery charged off for extra activities when you do not use your phone and turn off application Notifications or Force Stop it works if you don't want to delete unnecessary applications.

3. Set less screen brightness and set sleep time for screen

It is known that the brighter are the screen, the more power battery consumes. To avoid this, you need to reduce the brightness by at least half the full brightness. This will help the battery not consume as much power. It is also recommended to use themes in more black and white colors.
To setting screen sleep time is for that if you don't use the longer time your phone to economy your battery (optimal is 30 seconds).

4. Set up Battery STAMINA modes

It's recommended to use built-in phone STAMINA or different apps for battery usage and phone system economy. If you set up this mode your phone turns off some system works and you can see like your phone is starting to visualize more slowly and the colors are being used much less than normal mode.

5. Turn off your location and GPS

This option will save much energy for your phone battery. We know that GPS and location positioning consume battery power. So it's best to disable this option!

6. Charge your phone in slow mode and without any phone cases

Of course, we need the phone to charge quickly, but it's not always good for the battery! It is better to charge your phone through your PC and use only the original charger! If you charge your phone with case it will be overheating and it's bad for your battery, to move away from that just remove it.

7. Clean cache and restart your phone

Clearing your phone's cache from time to time will help make your phone easier to operate and don't need to use more CPU power. Restarting your phone makes your phone work easier and much faster.

8. Do not charge your phone too much

Best practice has shown that it is better not to charge the phone up to 100%, as often when the phone is left to charge overnight, it is continuously charged and is not good for the battery. Better charge up to 90% and try not to charge less than 15%, this is the optimum amount to protect the battery from overcharging and full discharge.

9. Delete unused applications

If you don't use any application or if there is an application that consumes the battery, delete it better and install when it is necessary.

10. Use your phone without a case

This will help your phone be cooled and do not overheat the battery or use case like aluminum or thin cases.
