How To Build a Cheap Gaming Computer

In this article I will try to show you how to assemble a cheap gaming computer. In fact, the computer is not that difficult to assemble if you have at least basic understand of how the computer is built. Don't worry, I'll tell you some of the useful information that will help you choose your computer.

Let's start with what we will need to assemble to computer:

1. Case - it is a box in which all components are placed, before buying pay attention to the size of the motherboard, power supply position, hard disk space in box.

2. Motherboard - it is one of the main computer component to connect all other components connect and has different processor socket types, memory, SATA hard drive, power supply, CPU fan types and the very important thing is the motherboard type: ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ATX, Nano-ITX, Pico-ITX.

3. Processor (CPU) - is brain of a computer that processes data flow, often reads the catch memory that determines the data processing speed (the higher are catch memory, then better). There are some types of processor sockets, such as LGA 1151, Socket AM1, LGA 2066, Socket TR4 and much different types.

4. CPU fan - is a component that cools the processor so it can work without any problems. If the processor is poorly cooled, then the computer may be braked, often shut down or even burn. CPU fan types depend on what kind of a motherboard and processor you have.

5. Video card (GDDR) is a computer component that makes visual things more beautiful and video processing easier and more convenient. This is important component for gamers, video and image editing users. Types of video cards: PCI, AGP, PCI-Express.

6. Memory (RAM) - is a computer memory component that helps the processor process higher data traffic. The processor with RAM and hard disk memory interacts, the process of running these components takes place as follow: data from the hard disk is fed to RAM and further processed from the RAM to the processor. Types of RAM: DDR SDRAM, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4.

7. Hard Drive (HDD) - is a data storage that stores your data and operating system. Ther are different types of hard drive, such as: IDE (PATA) hard drive, SATA, SSD.

8. Power Supply - is also an important component for the computer to not overheat and work at all possible power. Power supply helps to give correct power to all connected components. When buying a power supply pay attention, power (W), location (top, bottom housing), connector types (SATA, PIN, PCI Power pin, ATX pin +12V, ATX 24 pin main power etc.).

Let's continue with computer assembly

First you need to figure out the approximate parameters that will be on your computer. When it is chosen, you should start with a case to understand what king of motherboard you need. Next we choose motherboard, suitable motherboard processor type, cpu fan, RAM, power supply, video card and hard drive.

1. Rosewill ATX case ($49.99): https://amzn.to/2Uxvgqv
2. MSI PRO Series motherboard ($129.99): https://amzn.to/2ZpGXTM
3. Intel Core i3-8100 processor ($138.88): https://amzn.to/2KVejGR
4. CPU fan ($39.95): https://amzn.to/2VUv0Dk
5. Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1050 video card ($129.99): https://amzn.to/2vfKsOy
6. Corsair DDR4 16GB memory ($76.99): https://amzn.to/2Vl7eDt
7. Western Digital HDD 1TB hard drive ($46.99): https://amzn.to/2Dr6C4V
8. EVGA 500W Power Supply ($42.95): https://amzn.to/2ZpYmM3
Total price: $ 655.73

A total of $ 655.73 to assemble this gaming PC. It might be possible to reduce the cost of the parts, but it depends on a manufacturer and quality. Here I chose both quality and price.
If you need help assembling your computer, then feel free to let me know and I will help to choose which components are best to buy. Thanks for reading this blog!
