HOW TO SPEED UP INTERNET CONNECTION ON WINDOWS 10

Like all gamers and users who are very dissatisfied with their internet speed want to make it faster, but to do that not always need to change your internet provider. You can just configure some settings in DNS or use cable internet connection to your PC.

1. Optimize DNS settings

For optimizing DNS settings you will need software that calls: DNS Benchmark
After you download, open it -> go to Nameservers tab and Run Benchmark (when you run it better close all software that uses much speed of internet or close torrents!)

When the test is done, go to: Conclusion -> and find IP addresses that are shown in there and note it!

Then you need to get more IP addresses from second DNS checker: DNS Jumper
Download and open, then click Fastest DNS -> Start DNS Test

After software finds best DNS servers note it! In this case, it is 8.8.4.4 and 8.8.8.8.

After noted your DNS addresses open cmd and ping those DNS, like this:
You will see a Minimum round trip time in milliseconds (the less time the better).

To change this setting you need to go: Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network Connections -> Find your Ethernet or Wi-Fi Connection and click right mouse button -> Properties -> Properties to Internet Protocol version 4 IPv4 -> Check "Use the following DNS server addresses" -> enter those two DNS from before we found and click OK.

2. Internet Resource Eaters

Most programs use the Internet connection in the background to avoid it and to reduce Internet load, you need to lock them! To do that you will need to download NetLimiter 4.

After you download and install, open it and in the list choose software or programs that eat your internet resources, for example, let's turn off Windows Movie app

3. Optimize Internet TCP

To optimize an Internet TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) for more smoothly and faster internet connection you need to download TCP Optimizer.

Open it with Administrator privileges -> choose Connection speed (do not put too much, because it can't be work properly!) -> choose Network Adapter -> click Settings: Optimal -> Apply changes.

Note: For better internet speed use your connection with cable!

4. Turn Off P2P Updates

To turn off P2P Updates go to: Windows -> Settings -> Update & Security -> Advanced options -> Delivery optimization -> and Turn Off "Allow download from other PCs"

5. Disable Large Send Offload

This will help to increase the LAN speed! To disable it, go to: right-click on This PC -> Manage -> Device Manager -> Network adapters -> choose your LAN adapter -> right-click: Properties -> Advanced -> find all "Large Send Offload" -> and set Value: Disable to all -> click OK.

Now you're Done! :) Your Internet speed will go up. If you stuck in some of these cases, then write in a comment I will help you to fix it up and comment if this tutorial work for you, it will help me to understand it is useful and working scheme or not. Thanks for reading and good luck!
