Review Acer Asire VN7-791g Nitro gaming laptop

This article will be about the gaming laptop Acer Aspire VN7-791g Nitro. He has been in my hands for 5 years and I will tell you about the pros and cons of this laptop.

5 years ago, when I bought this laptop, it was important for me to have a large screen, a good processor and a powerful video card. This laptops will fit all of the above categories, so I bought him for less than 1000 euros with the entire Windows operating system.

Let's talk a little about the specifications of this laptop. He's quite powerful yet and today's games on average settings are even pulled!

With these parameters, I can tell you that this computer will be able to stand next to its competitors for a few years. Another very good thing is that the laptop can be upgraded by adding RAM and SSD.

As for the tests, I have done a couple of tests and put the results. You can compare with other models and conclude on the durability of this laptop.

The first test I do with RealBench is here:

In this test we tested Image Editing, Video Encoding, OpenCL, Heavy Multitasking and for all we get 53 541 score. For this laptop I think it is not so bad score. 

The second test was done with UserBenchmark:

In this test we see that score is not so good, but not so bad. This test results show that this laptop for gaming are only 15%, for desktop use 44% and workstation 32%. UserBenchmark show that for graphics card result are very low 3D score, but in real time it's not so bad and what about drive boot, it can be fixed by adding SSD memory.

And last test is from Novabench:

From last test we see the score are 1477 and if we look of all time score, then we will see it's not so bad for 5 years used gaming laptop power. About stats you can see in official Novabench website.

Summarizing the pros of this laptop I can say that the pros are more than cons.

Pros: 

• Very good IPS screen and angle range
• Pleasant soft touch material
• You can still playing 2019 games
• Peripheral devices upgradeable
• Fans do not overheat

Cons:

• The power cord overheats between fan
• Internet cable are not hold as well
• Battery does not last too long
